Manly

We both really loved Manly Beach.  It's a half-hour ferry ride from Circular Quay and just beautiful.  Manly is a little spit of land, about three blocks wide that separates Sydney Harbour and the pacific Ocean.  When you get off the ferry, you walk this wide pedestrian lane called the Corso, with really nice shops and such.

On Saturdays there is also market near the beach, with jewelry, clothing etc.  Sorry this picture is so dark but the sun is so bright it's hard to get a picture without too much contrast (humble brag there).
The beach is just gorgeous

and the water completely clear.
We were able to rent a couple of chairs and an umbrella, which made the day a lot more comfortable for us.
We stayed on the beach for a few hours and then had a drink in one of the many cafes and bars right at the beach.
Meredith took a liking to this saying on the menu.
Then it was back to Sydney CBD on the ferry again.  It's such a pleasure to ride in the harbour.  You get incredible views like this:

Another wonderful day in Australia!
